Ferrari F189

this has been my "secret" project for the last 2 months or so. And itīs now completed to join the others in the "60 years of Ferrari".

Itīs about 95% completed I would say.. still got some decals and some wiring to do.

mostly box stock. Added a cooler and the piping and some wiring. Thatīs about it.

Hope you like it

Alot of CF to

Thatīs it.

Cool-looking race car. It looks nice, simple, and clean. Did you have fun building this car? Any fitting problems?

Re: Ferrari F189

the CF is a homemade secret

and yeah it was a really fun build and the only fitting-problem would be the body. It doesn´t fit very properly but it is not very noticeable.

Thanks for the comments !!

Re: Ferrari F189

Looks good. The seams on the tires are distracting. My FW11 took forever to sand that seam out, but I think it will look much better.

Thanks for the comments guys !

I know what you mean about the seems.. =/ and I sanded them away and then I painted a small white line to replicate how it look in a ref. pic. I have so the seems/lines has there purpose

By the way. It was your pictures inspiring me to take pictures with a little darker backdrop on the pics.. It does look amazing and brings more life to the pics.

Thank you! I'm glad I helped improve your photography! Your graduated backdrop looks great and really compliment the model! It's always nice to see completed models that have had clear, well lit pictures taken. I especially like the diagonal shots and the shots that are lower to the ground.

I see about the white stripe. I didn't notice the tire labels last night when I was looking at it. Very realistic.

Is that rear shot in this post a reference, or the model itself?

If thats the model, Nice work!!!

That last pic is from the reference and I really like this F1. It would have been amazing seeing it race for real
