AC 1996 4 cyclinder S-10
When changing air cond comp. how much oil is used, what kind, and how should it be put in the system?

First you need to drian old compressor and see how much is in it.
If old compressor has no oil in it system may be low on oil. Also drain new compressor if it came with oil in it. Some new compressors the put the total system charge in them. If so drain it out. I would add about 3 oz of pag oil to new copressor. Put it in compressor. And always spin the compressor by hand before running it. Vacuum system down and charge with 2 lbs of R134a
