Sub'08: Can I remove hatch's Chevy Emblem?

I have a Suburban '08, and I want to take off the gold chevy logo that is located on the hatch.

If I use fishing line to take it off, will it look clean underneith?

Or does anyone have any different suggestions?

We always removed them with a heat gun but you gotta know what you are doing to prevent from damaging the paint or cracking the rear hatch.

Right on! So there's nothing under that huge chevy symbol except smooth paint? No holes or anything?
