Lighting Laws
I am about to order parts for my car, but it is important for me to find a list of states in which neon is legal in. Or if it is legal in indiana & in kentucky.
If possible, e-mail me @: [email protected] |

Re: Lighting Laws
This is a nice forum where you can ask cops questions. The link provided regards neon lighting.
http://www.policeworld.net/vb/showth...ht=neon+lights here is another one from Streetglow. They have a legality section in their forums and you can get a lot of information and experiences from people who have neons. http://www.streetglow.com/forums/ind...showtopic=1655 So far, the only places they seem to be "legal" is in Missouri and Orlando. The genaral consensus is that you cannot have them on while driving. You can use them only when parked, in some cases only when the vehicle is off. Some do not allow them at all, period. Some say as long as the bulb isn't visible you are good. I suggest you not get them as its too big of a risk and it annoys most cops anyway, regardless of what the laws are. $200 can be spent on more useful car products. If you really want to get them, don't get flashing ones and don't get red, blue, or green.
