need help finding out what to tune to.

hi, i am helping someone decide what he wants to get his box tuned to. he has kicker CVX and he wants the cubic feet to be 2.2 since kicker states that is the max rms. he listens mostly to rap like young jeezy etc.

If that's all he listens to is rap with alot of low end bass then by that chart I'd personally tune the box to about 45hz.

45 hz is too high! 30 hz is wat i tune all of my boxes to
i know that sounds low but the box will play every note and sound great too!!!

45 Hz tuning is a fart box ...... like dbfreak says, most boxes are tuned to 32 Hz or lower

Im going to try 28 on my next one. I listen to wutang and some metal that has some notes that dont play very well.

Don't ever look at cars as just imports or domestics. Just because a car is made in a certain country doesn't mean that it is anything like another car from that country. An example of this is Mitsubishi reliability, just because they are Japanese doesn't mean that they are as reliable as a Honda or Toyota.
