Re: how to lower jeepy
If it is 4 wheel drive I don't think you can lower it all that much without the front axle causing problems. If it's 2 wheel drive then you can lower it some but like any vehicle when you start changing the suspension from the original factory design to any aftermarket you will affect the feel of the ride. Also alot of 2 wheel drive jeeps had the full axle in the front just no transfer case and front driveshaft. If she's wanting to lower her car then buy the jeep from her and do what you want to it especially raising it and she can get a 2 wheel drive chevy blazer and lower it and do all that to it. Jeeps were never designed or meant to be lowered as they are like an icon to offroading, same goes you wouldn't jack up a camaro and take it off road because it's made for on the road racing not off road.

Use shorter and wider tires. Or you can cut the front spring 1/2 to 3/4 coil. Then re-arc the rear spring which may be sagging anyway. Also you can carry a big sand bag in the rear. |
