Comanche 1988 bypass

I have a 1988 Comanche truck and I just got the whole engine rebuilt, they changed everything and made it almost new again, the problem is that while unistalling the engine they cut a lot of wiring and disconeted a lot od things, and after they tried to reconect the whole thing the supposedly new engine started to work really bad, I took it with another mechanic who after some troubleshooting he told me that the guys who cut the wiring eliminated some electrical units that were coming from the computer to something he called the "bypass", that is supposed to control the timing of the engine that is supposed to be computer controled, the problem is that we can not find the wires and I would like to know if some one here could hepl me to find a diagram of these conections from the computer to the bypass.

The engine is a 4 cilinder american design (not canadian), and I really would apreciate if some one could gimme a hand with this thing thanks.

Cool Re: Comanche 1988 bypass

I do have a manual for 88 XJ, but could find no answers for your problem.

This vintage jeep and engine combo is beyond my expertise level.

So, on rare occasions, I must point you to some people who might know...
