89 Bronco

I have an 89 Bronco XLT 302 4wd that runs fairly well but tries to stall at idle under load. I think it might just be throttle adjust or O2 sensor but not sure. The cable sheilds are cracked and the choke looks extended too far.It won't pass emmisions because of it and the sheet I got back didn't give specific problem. Any thoughts?
