lightbulb upgrades for '03 jetta 1.8t

hello, i was looking to upgrade my stock lightbulbs for some brighter and white lights (i love the look). what brand do you guys recommend? what is the lightbulb model # on the 2003 jetta 1.8t? and what is the maximum wattage my stock headlights can put up with? also, how much am i looking to spend doing this?

you can actually get the white ones that are made for your car, probably even at walmart. the wattage will be the same, they should have a book at each place they sell the bulbs to give you part numbers for each kind of bulb you can use
