Re: EGR flow problem
Welcome to the forum!
Do you happen to know the exact code that you are getting? It will be in the form of P0123. -Rod |

Re: EGR flow problem
I know when I had a code come up that said EGR flow insufficient...it was the DPFE sensor also known as the EGR pressure sensor...not sure if it goes bad both ways? Curious as well.....TOM

Re: EGR flow problem
i had the same problem with mine 01 4.0L sohc explorer and i replaced the egr valve, egr solenoid. but it ended up being the DPFE sensor and that solved the problem and shut off the check engine light.

Re: EGR flow problem
Get exact code number. DPFEGR sensor is notorious for going bad but without code can't really pinpoint problem. Any performance problems?
