'99 CE, what tires would you recommend?

I have a 1999 CE, It has about 23000 miles on it and the treads on the tire looks about 30% left. I was thinking of getting alloy 15' rims. What size tires would you recommend? Brands? this is my wife's car, my next step is to get a K&N filter and new wheels. Any and all recommendations are appreciative.

tires

hey if your going for low profile (tires that are short, not sure how much u know) i would go for some 195/50/15 or the 205/50/15 's your best bet would be the 195's they look good on the car since they airt to low. as far as specs they are supposed to fit the car but if you have ever had an accident i would do some research first because the tire is wider but about the same highth as the stock tires so if there are any big dents in the body it can scrap. if your body is clean then you will be fine but ive heard of a few times where people had to stay stock on wheels because of an accident. k hope i helped.
