Post Help with the outside Temp gauge reading

Hi i have a 1993 Lincoln TC and when you go to read the outside Temp it says -26 on it when it should read the outside TEMP can anyone help me with this

Just changed it in 94. Disconnect battery pull plastic shield in front of hood latch two right in front left one for dash one for climante control grey with red stripe wire is on climate control good luck

Under plastic piece you have removed in front of hood latch under hood.
There are two identical sensors screwed in upside down on a little bracket.
twenty bucks each. I changed them both. Make sure to disconnect negative cable
