88 Caravan front struts
I took one of the struts form my sons Caravan to have a new stut plate installed but found out after removing the spring, the only good part left is the spring itself. The problem is a part that my local NAPA says it can't get. I'm new to strut suspension so please excuse my ignorance on this but it seems like its the upper spring cushion and the whole center of it is rusted/rotted away and if it's not replaced, it's just going to keep on rattling like crazy. I'm sure there must be a replacement for this part but what is it and what is it correctly called so when I do order one, who ever I'm ordering it from will know what it is I need?
