2001 TJ Transmission Slip

I have a 2001 Wrangler 4.0L automatic (60K miles). The transmission slips on cold for about the first 100 yards down the road. After that there are no problems. The fluid level is fine. Does this sound familiar to anyone. Or does anyone have any suggestions?

Re: 2001 TJ Transmission Slip

Does it leak any fluids? You will have to pay real close attention because the trans will leak and it will drip right down the skid plate and blow all over everything in the rear underside of the Jeep.

Good call scoobytuff. Its leaking like a sieve. Its covered so I have no idea on where its coming from. Any ideas on potential sources.
