headers

i have searched a lot to find what i need but i cant find it so i ask:
what headers (any brand) would i need for a 1985 caprice classic 305 with PS PB and a drivers side O2 sensor. btw when i got the car the AIR system was already taken out so im not to concerned about that. Any suggestions??

Re: headers

summit sells cheap long tube headers (part# SUM-G9001)but they probably will rust from the inside out in about a year or two. summit also has ceramic coated headers for around $170 and will probably last awhile and the cheap ones are around $90. if you run open headers, nevermind, but if you want dual exhaust then youll have to do some trans x-member modifications for ground clearance.

Re: headers

I'm doing the same thing and wanted to find out about modifying the cross member...looks like the floor needs to be mashed in too? Anybody converted single to dual? I've got a '87 coupe.
