Me vs 99 ls1 6speed camaro predictions...

Well me and my freind are going to be lining them up. How many lengths will he w.... I mean, Who do you think will win and by how many lengths? We HAVE both run at the track before, but It was a first time with the turbo in for me and a first time with the car for him.

2004 Cavalier TD04 turbo, FMIC, drag radials, 9lbs of boost................................13.9@100

1998 Z28 Camaro with exhaust and K&N............................................... ..........13.6@105

Since that day at the track I have turned up the boost about 1 or 2 lbs and installed a 3 inch exhaust from DP back. (DP=2.5)

Predictions from a dig...?
" " " " roll...?

I want to get an in car mount so I can get a vid for you guys, but I don't think thats in the budget right now. Maybe a freind can tape it from the side of the road or something...

from the dig you lose by like 2 cars given good launchs on both parts and from a roll you should either get him by a car or be side by side....

Re: Me vs 99 ls1 6speed camaro predictions...

yikes... wrong forum... my bad

I think I can get him from a dig. but not from a roll. I dunno well see. I guess it depends if I have the drag radials on or not... I can pull a 1.9 60" with the drag radials on

PS:Both cars are faster than the times suggest because the day at the track there was a headwind and it was hot-n-humid.

If he's running 105mph in the 1/4, and you're 100mph. He's got better top end than you do. So I suspect on both accounts, given that you each drive well, that the LS1 will put the distance on you.
