car starts then dies 2 seconds later clicking noise under dash

I have a 91 eagle talon and it will start evertime but die 2 seconds later. Everytime it dies i hear a clicking noise from behind to radio. I replaced this part but same results. After about 15 minutes of starting and dieing it will finally stay running with no click. This click is the same click that you hear any time you turn off the ignition or try starting without clutch pushed in. Please help as to what might be sending this signal to shut car down. thanks.

It might be your ecu dieing, I just ripped my whole car apart and the only thing behind the radio is the ecu, and one other little gold looking connector box. But I doubt its the gold connector. I would go to your local junk yard and pick up an ecu. I spent 40 bucks for one down at my junk yard.
