1993 LeSabre Seat Swap?

Wondering if the seats, both front and rear, from a 1987 Olds Ninty Eight will fit a 1993 LeSabre?

Thanks

I own a couple 92 LeSabres and an 87 Olds Delta Eight-eight. Granted, the 88 is not a 98, but from what I can tell, there is NO way they would be even close. Then again, reach under the seats and measure the distances to the bolts (or more likely just look at them because I doubt measuring will be necessary--they will likely be far enough apart to be noticeable to the naked eye.)

Oh, I sorta thought they would fit in pretty easy. Though there was an early 90's redesign, I thought all those cars shared the same platform and so the seats might all have the same bolt dimenisions. The power seat setup/legs looks like the same as in my 87...

Well, like I said, get out the measuring tape. But these cars share platforms (certain models do anyway), but not frames. Why? They have no frames under the center body of the car, therefore I see no reason why the bolts would be in the exact same positions (unless there is a standard size GM seat--which if there is I am not aware of it).

Re: 1993 LeSabre Seat Swap?

Call your local salvage yard and ask them. Many salvage yards use the Hollander Interchange Manuals to identify what parts interchange between which vehicle. I think it would be different as the 98 is a "C" platform, and the LeSabre is a "H" platform.
