91 B250 Ignition switch getting hot

Hello, I have a 91 Dodge Conversion Van B250. The harder I run the accessories, like the blowers, the hotter the ignition switch gets. It also heats up the two wires coming from the middle of the connector that goes in the ignition switch. I cannot run my blower on high for long or the wires and switch will get too hot. If you move your fingers down the wires some, they are not hot. So it is all concentrated right there at the switch. Is the switch bad or something else. At the salvage yard you can see a bunch of the switches have gotten hot, so it seems a problem on most of them.

The switch contacts have worn to the point where they're not making good contact anymore. This in turn results in resistance at the contacts, which in turn generates the heat you're feeling. Yes it's time to replace the switch.

I just found out there is a tsb for this. I ordered the package that is listed in the tsb and its still available. Comes with new blower switch, harness and relay. Chrysler Part number 4723982
