Squeaking/knocking sound in front end
I have a squeaking sound that begins about 20 mph. It increases with acceleration and becomes louder. It ceases when I step on the brakes and when I turn left. After driving for about 10 minutes I also notice a knocking sound when I am slowing down and under 30 mph. Took off the left driver's side tire to take a look.. everything appeared normal. Brakes are new, rotor looks good. I was thinking tie rod? Any suggestions greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Re: Squeaking/knocking sound in front end
check the hub for play, maybe have your tires/rims looked at

Re: Squeaking/knocking sound in front end
sounds like a wheel bearing, at least the part about the loud noise after 20 mph..
