Ok, first off. The car runs great. Power windows work, lights and stero work.
The power sliding door does not work. (I did try resetting several times) Driver power seat does not work. Keyless Entry does not work (Replaced battery and attempted to reset) Interior lights do not turn on when door is opened. Pull down mirror lights do not work Under hood light does not work, replaced bulb. One power wing window does not work. Blower on AC doesnt kick on till it is set to 3. Many issues, tried resetting and running trouble codes. Nothing seems to work. Any ideas? |

Re: 97 Trans Sport. Electrical Issues

It sounds like it is time to pick up a repair manual and do some troubleshooting. Can you use a multimeter and a test light? Also, check out autozone.com. They have some repair guides that might help. Just type in your van information and they will show you lots of stuff. I think I can help you with the AC Blower. You most likely need to replace the blower motor resistor pack. It controls the speeds of the blower, and when the lower settings fail but the higher ones work, 99% of the time it is the blower motor resistor pack. Also, start checking the fuses under the hood and inside the van. Some of these things could just be that the fuses are blown. Take Care,
