Torque Spec. for Brakes
Does anybody know the torque specs for the caliper bracket front and rear and the calipers itself front and rear ? 1999 silverado 2500

From my Haynes manual
(I also included specs for 1500 in case anyone might need them): Caliper mounting (guide pin) bolts: Front 1500 = 80 ft/lbs Front 2500 = 80 Rear 2500 = 80 Rear 1500 = 31 Caliper mounting bracket bolts: Front 1500 = 129 Front 2500 = 221 Rear 1500 = 148 Rear 2500 = 122

FYI - When I did mine I just did them up as tight as I could get them. Remember at some point down the road you'll want to take them off again. Too much torque could make them a bugger again later.
Just my worth.
