PLEASE HELP 94 sc1 wont go into 1st gear

Hope someone can help

it will go into 2-5 fine and rev.
I have replaced the master and slave for the clutch with new
if I let the clutch out a little and make the gears spin, this grins the gears, it will jump into 1st

Sounds like a bad synchro.

transmission removal and rebuild, a synchro in an interial part.

I find that sometimes the teeth line up wrong, and it won't go into gear.
I stay in neutral, push the clutch pedal in/ out, to spin the gears, and try again. If it's just occasional, I wouldn't worry about it. (it will start in 2nd)
