Hand Break is realy loose

Hi,
i got honda civic n reg, its hand break dont work and its realy loose especially on slopes. What you think i need to fix it. Is it just the screw tight or something else.

Try if you have drum brakes, to clean and adjust the rear brakes if the adjustment is to out of spec the shoes will not hold the drums with the proper force.
