Sebring LXI dash board

I have been having some issues with my dash board up by where the vent is. The dash seems to be pulling away from the vents. I am not sure what is causing this but I am seeing the yellow material underneath the dash. Does anyone have any fixes and or any way to prevent this from growing worse?
