Does spray paint freeze?

I know that enamals don't like the cold, but I have my painting station and all my paint in essentially a screened in non-insulated porch. It hasn't gotten too cold yet, but it is wisconsin. Just wondering if I should be moving all my spray paint indoors as well (there's a TON of it, that's why I don't want to find room for it all).

I would imagine not coz of the solvents in the paint.

It might not freeze, but it won't be of much use if it's really cold. I'd try to store it in a safe, warm spot, especially if you're going to use any of it during the winter.

Well I usually warm my cans with hot water regardless, but I'm just worried it will be rendered completely useless. I guess I'll have to make room for it all somewhere.

Solvents can definitely freeze, they're liquids! So why not? I'd keep them indoors if I were you. But, if you can order spray paint from HLJ and have it shipped across the seas without any ill effects (time spent in a cargo hold 18,000 feet above the ocean - brrrr!) then you probably COULD, but to be on the safe side I'd keep them inside.

Boiling and freezing points go up when pressure goes up.
Pressure in the cans should be high enough to keep any of the contents from freezing, even in severe frost conditions.
You definitely do want to protect the cans from moisture, a rusty spray can is pretty dangerous.
