1995 herokee country fuel injector control circuit problem
I accidentally hooked jumper cables backwards. Blew several fuses.
I replaced battery and fuses, now jeep runs in limp mode with gas coming out from underneath throttle body and whit smoke comes out exhaust( smells like gas too). Code says 27. fuel injector control circuit. How canm i fix this? do i need a new computer now? possibly fried during idiot jumper cable hookup? |

Hey paul, I hear you talkin'. Be patient, some of us work, have families etc.. You should expect a day delay, maybe two.
Not that I'm this knowledgable, but I'd imagine if you're getting codes the comp might be ok. Wouldn't it have it's own fuse/circut as well? |

Re: 1995 herokee country fuel injector control circuit problem
well I believe I have this thing fixed now. It stopped throwing the check engine light when I dropped the new computer in. also stopped vomiting gas out the exhaust. I went thru 1/4 tank of gas in my driveway.
I called 37 salvage yards in nashville area. I found one that had my matching part number computer. Cost me a c-note and two days off work. good thing Im self employed. |
