Does anyone know the rule for.....

Does anyone know the rule for a road that has no posted speedlimit? Coz theres one a couple of minutes from where i live, and im wondering what the rules are for a road like that even if there are no posted speedlimits, just in case theres a run in with the MAN.

I live in Va if state to state laws affect anything.

If its a county road, the only way you would find out what the speed limit is would be to ask the "MAN." But like in our county, all road with no posted speed limit are 45 mph. I guess it just depends.

Oh highways with no posted speed the limit would be 55mph. On city roads with no posted speed it would be 35. At least that's what it is here in SC.

But hey, if there are no cops around then the sky is the limit on how fast you can go. hehehe

in the city with no posted speed limits/residential: 50km/h

in the city with no posted speed limits/non-residentail: 60km/h

country/highway and it's a secondary road: 80km/h

country/highway and it's a primary road: 100km/h

That's the Canadian laws, i dunno if that helps at all. Sorry i can't translate to mph for ya!
