Flash my computer?

I recently changed out engines in my 1993 CVPI and it DOES run better but I think it still doesnt run as well as it should.The new engine came out of a 1995 grand marqui and had low miles.I was wondering if the computer needs to be flashed after the new engine install?I dont know what gears it has ,ive been told 3.27,but i plan on putting 3.73 in it to help with the acceleration at low end speeds.Like i said,it does run alot better so it might be just me but any info would help,thanx

Whats it doing? Shifting to soon too late? Check engine light on ? You'll run into costly problems going with anything higher then 3:55 in that car and 3:27 to 3:55 is not worth the time and money.

No,it doesnt do any of that,it just doesnt seem to have the power that i think it should have.I know its not gonna be as quick as a mustang but i know Crowns are faster than what i have,maybe its just me thinkin too much,i dunno,its just that ive done alot to this car and it should be quicker than it is.So,u dont like the 3.27 idea?Whys that?Ive read many forums on here and they all say that it dramaticly increases throttle response and they loved it.Heres a link,tell me whatcha think and thanx for all the info,really appreciate it

Nice looking car. There is nothing wrong with 3:27 its just not enough of a differance when swapping up to 3:55. 3:73 might give you speedo issues and shift and speed limiter issues even more so with the smaller diameter mustang tires that you have on there if they are stock size.
