A/C heater controls

I have an '88 CRX Si ...... is there like a kit to move the A/C heater controls somewhere else ? I know that cable going to the heater hose for opening/closing it will be a pain. I guess there is another cable for that controls where the air to the vents flow too. Has anyone ever tried relocating the controls ?

Re: A/C heater controls

I'm sure the relocating has been done at some point by someone. I'm an avid enthusiast and have never seen it done personally. Your right about the control cables, they are a pain. I have a 96 accord climate control in my car and the cables took the longest to install. Luckily all you have to worry about is the cables cause everything else works off electrical switches. But those two cables under there will drive you nuts. Where you gonna relocate it to?

Re: A/C heater controls

I guess I will have to do some research on just what I want to do and how to do it. If I ever figure it out, I will post a "how-to" with pics.

Re: A/C heater controls

Yeah the crx's are blessed with electronic directional controls. Unfortunately for me it made it a pain in the ass to get a wiring harness for one when all you can find are hatches lol.
