man....the other night i was going over a hill out by my house and this deer wasi n the middle of the road....so i locked up my breaks but he didnt run off the road like normal deer do....he just started running away from me like i was chasing him lol....i was going around 60 mph....i ass rammed him with my driver side head light....and i messed up my fender and hood....so i plan to get some Z3 fenders and a cf hood and some projector lights.....does anyone know some good projector lights to put on a 98 civic dx...i kinda like those head lights with the white turn signals.....but my question is are those legal?

Don't get projectors because they don't light up as nice as your regular lights. But if you want projectors knowign that the HALO lights are nice.
About the legality of the lights, they need to have amber reflectors and amber light. Thats it.

so what kinda head lights would you recommend then....some like 200-300 dollar ones....id need side lights to i believe.... so the ones that have white blinkers are illegal your saying? cause ALOT of ppl at my high school have those

yeah, they have to blink amber. You can have clear lights with an amber bulb or a clear bulb with amber lights.
and you should have honked at the deer.

u can get the clear projectors, but make sure u change the lightbulb when u changed it because the ones that comes with the projectors sucks. the jdm headlights looks better but the projectors are a bit cheaper (mine cost $150 cdn). i just installed it on mine, much brighter and way nicer than the stock ones.

z3 fenders look phat...and this dude was telling me his projectors cost him 400 bucks and he had it on order for 6 months.....he said there hard to get but there worth it

That is because you have OBX Projectors I have Denji Projectors with the upgraded wiring harness and they are brighter then my stocks infact I never have to use my high beams.

is urs the denji proj gen 2? i got a pair, hooked it up with the wiring harness but the problem is that the running lights are my highbeams now, so i have to turn on the lights everytime i drive.

They have to have either a clear lens and an amber bulb, or an amber lense and a clear bulb. I have clear lens and clear bulb, and the cops don't bother me. I'm located in the bay area, and they don't give me any problems. Now if I had blue, that might be too obvious. Clear is harldy noticable to cops. Or they just don't care. I cleared my lights and on my friend's '00 Expedition, and we've had no trouble yet since we did it over 6 months ago.

lol, you "ass rammed" him. I was rolling laughing when I read that. whoo, that paints a hilarious mental image. I can just see this deer running down the road getting chased by a car and the thing gets the worst enema EVER.

Yea that really sucks about your car though. But I guess it's an excuse to get cool looking new shit! Just trying to be optimistic I guess.

for the record, honking usually does help. I drive almost nightly on a contry (deer-infested) road and honking has almost always helped.

lol yea......i blew the deers ass out....
well the thing is with me.....ima show off and isntead of honking at ppl i rim my engine up lol its jsut easier but i dont think thatd of worked for the deer lol.. i dunno it just happened to fast....i barely hit the deer too :/
