self diagnosis test
Ran the self diagnosis test for climate control. Off and floor sim. then auto within 2 seconds. It worked. came up 888 which means no faiures.
When it checks the temp sensors both in car and out it checks for open and shorted. could a component pass the test and still be defective? For instance if the in car sensor is delivering a false reading as in 30 degrees when it is really 75 then it would keep the blend door from opening and letting in cooler air? I've seen blend doors get stuck from moisture on the rubber seal like fat suctioning to the bath tub and the small motor or vaccum cant open it up. got my hammer ready to give it a whack and will stop back to see if someone has something a bit more scientific. Also looking for the blower speed control if anyone knows who carries them. 94 town car. Thanks and good luck |

Re: self diagnosis test
"...like fat suctioning to the bath tub..."
So that's why it's so hard for me to get out of the tub!
