I just bought a 97 Corolla, it has installed a PowerStart Remote starter. It only works sometimes, the times that it doesn't start the lights just flash 4 times and then nothing happens. am I doing something wrong? am I not using it properly? Does anyone know where I could find a manual for this? Is it an alarm too?
Basically the system comprises of an antena located just behind the rear view mirror and 2 remotes. the remote has a small green button and a large red button. Thats all I know....please help! Sean |

Re: PowerStart Remote Starter
Never heard of a powerstart unit. Usually these cheapo units are installed by some backyard buddy that doesn't know all the ins and outs of them. My guess is that it was installed by either using voltage sensing or some sort timing sequence so it doesn't really know if the cars starts or not. Try to find what exact model you have and google it.

Re: PowerStart Remote Starter
Go to www.gitsecurity.com to get the user manual . I have the same unit installed in my vehicle since 1997 and it is a great remote starter. Good luck
