b18c gsr with a type r block
ok i wanna get a b18c gsr vtec engine. and i wanna put a type r block.
wat do guys/girls think is should do. should i put a type r block or just leave it without it? |

I'm not sure exactly what you mean. You're saying that you want a GS-R engine (B18C1) and you want a Type R engine (B18C5). Do you mean that you want to buy an Integra GS-R car and you're thinking about swapping out the engine for a Type R one? If that's what you mean, you'd be better off just building off the B18C1 block with the $ you'd be saving from buying the ITR block. Otherwise you'll have to be more specific about what you mean.

I think he either has or is getting a C1 engine... and wants to swap the block for a C5? if thats the case i think its pointless because the big differance between the two is compression. so save yourself some money and just get hgh comp pistons for the C1 if thats what youre trying to accomplish.
