92 Sohc A/t Into 94 Dohc A/t
Will an automatic tranny from a 92 SOHC fit into a 94 DOHC (w/bad tranny) in other words swap the 92 tranny into the 94?
W/O messing with the ECM? Can someone explain to me exactly what the transmission valve body does, and how much it does or does not affect shifting? The 94s tranny shifts initially but then goes into limp mode? Can anyone help explain? Thank You. opcorn:

Re: 92 Sohc A/t Into 94 Dohc A/t
they will not interchange, gear ratios are different. the propose of the valve body is to control the shifting, it directs fluid through the transmission to hydralicly control gear engagement. you problem could be several different things, i suggest a professial diagonsis at you local dealership.
