Battery drain

I'm having problems with a flat battery. There is a drain from somewhere but i'm not sure where. If i disconnect the battery it's fine and i have always fires up no problem
Leave it for 3 days and all you get is a glimmer from the dash lights.
there are no interior lights staying on and the only visible source is a very bright clock light on the stereo.
Any ideas would be grateful.

Re: Battery drain

The first thing to do is find out what circuit is drawing power.
disconnect 1 battery terminal, then connect a test light from that terminal to battery where that terminal was disconnected.
The test light will illuminate indicating a draw.
Then remove fuses 1 at a time until you find the one that turns the test light out.Once this is done then find out what all is powerer on that circuit.
From there you can disconnect items one by one until problem is located.
