tri-state 3s gathering

ok this is more hypothetical. i just wanna get an idea of things.
would anybody b interested in a tristate 3s gathering. the tri states i'm think of would b, NY,NJ and PA. obviously people from other states are more than welcome, but i just needed a title.
i think it would happen at the meadowlands(where the NY GIants/Jets play) it's about 30mins from NYC, and only a lil of rt80. getting there wouldnt really be a problem for people from the northeast. centrl east coast would have it bad either.
since the meadowlands parking lot is huge, i mean HUGE, GINORMOUS. it would b possible to have a show and a bit of a autox type thing going on.
there are tons of places to stay, and yes they are nice, just lock your doors.
i'm thinking august, the first wk, or the last wk of july, u can come, show off the car, and watch a lil live football action out on the field. get the bbq's going, hell u never know who mite come out from the field to take a walk around.
this is just a poll to c if enuf people have interest to make it worth the time and effort.

Do you mean sometime in September? I believe football season doesn't start until than, I could be wrong or misunderstood your post. It sounds like a great idea though. I'm pretty sure a gathering can be set up. I am the VP for the NJ chapter of 3SI and I can bring up your idea to the membership. You may want to get in touch with Justin (3SI s/n: ifithas2be), the pres of the NY chapter. Contact Zach (s/n: znorris) for PA, I'm pretty sure he can set sometime up with his group.

You may want to check with the management over there at the Meadowlands if you want to do some autox. They may want a certificate of insurance to keep them out of trouble.

hey guys and girl, thanks for the feedback. i think i'm gonna have to make a 3si account if i were to pursue this even more. maybe i'll go to the pennsy show. if my car is running by then. just to get an idea of what's going on.
doing autox at the meadowlands shouldnt difficult. scca does along with porsche club of america, and who knows wat else.
as for the footbal thing, they already started the camps, and preseason starts next wkend i do believe. the real season doesnt start till september. but there's no fircken way to get a car show in that lot at the same time as a game, not possible. i've been there during a game, that place is packed
