bogging/shifting rough?

If I hit the gas sometimes the car won't go anywhere but the RPMs still rise. Then it will catch up and the car will act as if it's missed a shift. It happens in OD and in D. It still happens after the car has warmed up, but I get no code on the dash (of course). Anyone else ever have a similar problem? I thought maybe it could be one of the 3 O2 sensors, but one of my car guys said a rev limiter or something else. Help? This is my first LS1 and it's slower than the other Camaros I've had!

Re: bogging/shifting rough?

Trans fluid is perfect. Clear, not burnt and no leaks.

Re: bogging/shifting rough?

Maybe a torque converter issue. I'd have a independent trans shop take a look.

Re: bogging/shifting rough?

LS1=4L60E...I'd say there is a problem with either the PCM not telling it to shift or the trans is on its way south.
