1995 Monte Carlo Speaker replacement
hey guys, i blew a speaker in the front of my car (lower door speaker.) I don't want to pay Best Buy $50 to install it, i have a spare one that is stock, but can i just take the grill off? or do i have to take the whole door pannle off? If i have to take the door pannle off, i'll pay them because i hate doors with electronics (windows and locks.)
thanks! oh its a 1995 monte carlo Z34 (just so you know)

Re: 1995 Monte Carlo Speaker replacement
I think you can. To find out if you can, just pry the grill off with a screwdriver (will take about 10 seconds) and see if you can access the screws. If you can, then you're good to go.

Re: 1995 Monte Carlo Speaker replacement
well i pulled the grill off, but the screws were covered, i just had to take out the screws that run around the door, the one that holds the handle bezel in, and then just pulled the area around the speaker out, and held it while i unhooked the speaker and installed a factory one from my parts monte.
Not too bad!
