Oil temepature gauge

I have a problem that when I depress the accelerator the oil temperature increases also. I presume it is an electrical problem. Did anyone experience this before and any suggestion the remedy this problem? Thanks.

Re: Oil temepature gauge

I have an 04 KC Off-road titan and they do not have an oil temp. gauge. It has a transmission temp gauge, a coolant temp gauge, and an oil pressure gauge. Are you talking about the oil pressure gauge perhaps?

Re: Oil temepature gauge

Yes, the oil pressure gauge is an actual "real time" guage. Meaning that what you see is what the actual pressure is (which is normal for pressure to increase when you rev the engine). It's of no concern, it just seems odd because many mfg's have never put anything like this in their vehicles before.
