Question 97 Quest CEL Code

I have 2 CEL codes and do not know where the problem is:

P0325 Knock Sensor 1 Circuit (Bank1 or Single Sensor)
P0300 Rnadom/Multiple Cylinder Misfire Detected

The engine has been running rough when engin is hot. I've been told from other sources that few injectors are bad. Anyone with similar experience? Your feedback would be greatly appreciated.

Re: 97 Quest CEL Code

chk your ignition system first. usually when injectors go bad or get clogged they are like that at all temps.

Re: 97 Quest CEL Code

I do not know if it is related to engine running rough but when the engine is hot, not just hot but in normal nunning temperture for more than 3 hours or so and when I am stuck in traffic jam in hot summer day, engine knocks and loses power drastically. Engine knocks whenever an accelerator is pressed and engine temperature rises (not to the dangerous level but higher then normal). But then when the stop & go traffic is freed, the problem goes away. Do you think this is related to ignition problem?
Thanks for your input.
