strange noise under the hood (interesting one)

Ok guys let see what we can do with this one???
Recently my 98 v6 3.1 GA developed strange noise that sounds like someone is pulling a 15mm or bigger wrench over a concrete surface. I can only hear it in the morning mostly and also sometimes when you just start the car. It does not increase with RPM. Hey hey don't that is the best way I can explain this type of noise and it can be heard close to water pump or AC compressor. Maybe stetoschope can help?

I know that sound, and its probly the power steering pump.
They are notorious about growlin and crunchin .

Any thing like a yard stick or long screw driver can help find the soarce.
