Speaker size
I have a 2002 chevy cavalier ls coupe and am trying to replace the speakers in the front and rear (component system, new radio). I was wondering if anyone knew the size of those speakers so I do not have to do any cutting. Thank you.

if i could do it all over again, i would have never bought aftermarket 4/6's, get the adapter plate and some 6 1/2's!

Re: Speaker size
To add information to this thread, does anyone know the size of the tweeters in the door panels?

Re: Speaker size
yeah, your local audio dude should point you in the right direction... otherwise you could make one out of a piece of 3/4 inch mdf

Re: Speaker size
No other modification will be needed? the new plate and speaker will fit in the door like a smaller speaker would?

Re: Speaker size
yeah, you have to make sure that the tweeter doesnt come too far out from the woofer - or else your door panel will look funny
