Okay i have a 94 Blazer 4x4 4.3w and the neutral safety switch is located on the steering coloum and it's a ratcheting neautral safety switch... but i need to know is there anything special i have to do to install the neutral saftey switch? or do i just leave it in park and pop the new one on and hook up the wires? i already have the old one off....

Re: Neutral Safety Switch
You need to stay with the first post you started.
Did you check it out to be sure that is the problem? There is a slide adjustment on them where the screws bolt it down. You adjust by sliding it to it where the starter works in neutral or park position. MT
