94 Buick Le'Sabre 3800 engine won't start

Hi....I've been reading up on old post but comes a time to make my own... Well.....Before my car came to a NO CRANK ....I noticed that my engine light would pop on and off... So my father in law told me to replace my coil packs.. I'm guessing that is what it is called... I'm new to this but I have a little help.... I didn't.. I kept driving it... When I first bought my car...it shakes when I'm getting to 60 mph...... Then I went to get my wheel balanced but that didnt help....Next I got some freon put in my car and the A/C was blowing good then next thing you know...it was warm on the passenger side then cool on driver side ....then a week later HOT.....lol.....So No more A/C... Then.....one day i have to take some to an appointment...I put 93 (GAS) in my car and I'm hitting the highway (I forgot to say, Some time A/C blow cool) so I turned my a/c on high but bi level...and i couldn't go over 40mph and the gas was hitting the floor, so i turn around...make it back home and under the hood was smoking on my side(Driver's Side) I let car sit for a few days and i got out to start my car and it just won't crank.....Any suggestions to any of these situations....Help I want to be able to have some say in what may be wrong with my car. A lot of times some mechanics just tell you something and the next thing you know you are back at square one with the same mechanic who say that thought so and so was wrong.... PLEASE HELP....

I would look into changing the coil packs first. It's easy as they are right up front on the Lesabre.

Welcome to AF. Won't crank meaning the engine won't turn over on the starter or turns over and won't start, if the latter do you have fuel pressure, do you have spark to the plugs, all basic diagnostics here.
