Codes 17 & 19, 1992 SSEi

Need some advise on my SSEi.

What are the chances that both the Cam & Crank sensors are bad? Ran a code check and got 17 & 19, changed the cam sensor first, (easiest and cheapest) test drove it and all semmed well. Then all of a sudden without any kind of warning it stalled while at an idle, hard to restart and keep running, hobbled home and rechecked my codes...... 17 & 19 again.

Engine cooled down and restarted ok, ran very smooth for a while and then again stalled without any warning, justed died.

Should I change the crank sensor or look else-where for some other problem causing this stalling??????

How about checking for spark and fuel pressure before replacing parts? I see 17 and 18, could refer to a crank sensor or wiring from the cps to the icm or the ign control, module itself.
