How strong are the GN 3.8's stock internals?

How much boost can the '87 Grand Natn'ls handle on stock internals?

You obviously dont know what youre talking about. Grand nationals came with 250hp and 350lbs/foot stock. Their engine comes turbocharged stock.

How much boost or how much HP? I run 22 pounds of boost all the time thanks to my SMC alky injection setup. No problems with that. As for HP...most of the guys I have with run mid 11's and then are all still on stock internals. I think you can run high boost all the time as long as you don't knock and thus nothing gets hurt.

fastazzhonda - the NA 231 Buick makes about 110, the turbo but non intercooled ones make 200 or so and the intercooled ones make from 250-275. Those are of course stock and kind of generalized.

They sure are fun cars to modify. I added aftermarket exhaust, K&N intake and raised the boost and run low 12's on slicks......what a rush.

the main consern is pre deatonation. keep that out of your block and you be ok. i have a dyno sheet for my car that reads 453HP with what little mods i have and the only thing i have done to the engine is repace valvesprings. i run 12.68. 12.70's all day with street tires (just bought slicks yesterday can't wait )

as for fastazzhonda , i have yet to find a street honda that only has 1,000$ in it and isnt complety stripped to the bare bones that can hold a candle to me
