Are you new to Forums?

I have spent quite a bit of time in Automotive forums, all though not much time here. I have been reading old posts now for most of the morning and I notice that there are very few updates from people on fixes. If you are new to Forums in general or if this is your first time posting here, please please update your thread. When you ask a question and recieve help from people, everybody likes to know the outcome. Did it solve your problem? Was it something different that you could let the rest of us know for next time someone has the same issue? Please keep in mind experienced people here are giving you free advice, return the favor by helping the rest of the forum.

To the forum moderator, you might rephrase this if you would like and maybe throw it in the stickys?

Re: Are you new to Forums?

Very good post. I'm not the moderator of this forum, so I'll leave it to way2old to do as he pleases.

I'd also add that the "Search this Forum" utility from the forum main page is an extremely helpful utility, and could avoid a lot of duplicate threads. Additionally, if folks (newbies and frequenters alike) posted what it took to solve their problems, and people used the search feature, finding answers would be very efficient. A responsible forum user who utilizes the search wouldn't get 100 hits when searching for the keywords "fuel filter" or similar.
