Does the starter try to turn it or click or do anything? Are you getting 12 volts to the small solenoid wire when key is on start position? Is the battery up good? Battery cabels good and clean? What is the battery voltage reading?

Re: 94 Blazer won't crank over
Thank you for welcoming me... and it's a pleasure....
Starter won't click or turn or anything but it it sounds like the relay is clicking. Battery is at 12.22 volts. All battery cables were cleaned and shinny. I can't get to the small solenoid wire to test voltage with key at start position... i'm trying to do that inbetween checking this... i will post my findings on that as soon as i get it... this problem is just driving me crazy lol....

Re: 94 Blazer won't crank over
If no 12 volts to starter solenoid small wire with key in start position check neutral saftey switch.

Re: 94 Blazer won't crank over
O.K. this is going to sound really stupid but I actually had to do this to my 93 S-10. Had the exact same problem. Would not crank, Battery charged, everything good, clean, tight etc.
If you look over the top of the front passenger tire into the engine compartment, You should see the starter and the starter solenoid. Take a long metal rod (like a tire iron) reach over the tire and tap on the solenoid 3-4 times. Now you are not trying to kill the thing, just a couple of firm taps. and then turn the key. If it cranks, your solenoid is stuck, usually due to heat. Autozone sells a heat shield that mounts over the solenoid to help protect this from happening. I ended up replacing my starter and solenoid and installing the heat shield to the new starter. If tapping on the solenoid doesn't help, at least you haven't spent any money or wasted a lot of time. But if it starts, you will have found your culprit.

Check your neutral saftey switch.

Re: 94 Blazer won't crank over
Okay so i changed the neutral safety switch... but that wasn't the problem the switch needed to be replaced anyways the old one was in bad condition.... so i guess it's time to start chasing the solenoid wire down and making sure there is no break in the wire.... any other suggestions?

Re: 94 Blazer won't crank over
well at the neutral saftey switch clip for the ignition switch there is 4.60v in one wire and 0.00 in the other....

Re: 94 Blazer won't crank over
This is starting to sound more like a bad ignition switch.

Re: 94 Blazer won't crank over
You need 12 volts start key in start position from ign switch to neutral saftey switch.
If you do not have that move on to ignition switch. But check switch out before throwing parts at it. Get a good repair book with wiring diagram and power feeds to ing switch and see what is going on. Good luck. MT
