Re: B and M shifter installation

I have one in mine, a little older style but the same type of shifter functionally. If it works like mine does you have to pull up the bar to get it out of park, once its in reverse until you let go of the bar and let it drop back down the shifter will go no farther back. Once you let it go you are free to pull it to neutral or drive, and it will no longer be able to go back to reverse again until you pull the bar up with it in neutral. From drive or neutral if you pull the bar up you can pull it all the way back to 2nd or 1st, and when you "slap" the shifter forward into 2nd it locks out 3rd until you slap it again. Once its in drive if you pull up to a light you can go between neutral and drive without having to mess with the bar any. Thats all i know besides they look good and they compliment a good shift kit.

I cant tell you how it mounts up, my car was a standard originally so i had to make a place to mount it to.

Re: B and M shifter installation

I installed a megashifter in my car. It mounted easily, but the floor flexed a lot on mine so I reinforced it. I know one thing that sucks about mine is it comes with a 5ft cable that is about 3ft too long and has to be looped around the top of the tranny, therefore having a pretty tight cable. You need to have some muscle to pull it out of park. B&M does make cables in 2,3,4,5 lengths though.
